IMPORTANT INFORMATION: CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF ZIMBABWE 2023

ALL Foreign entrants:

1. Flight permit application:  You are required to complete the Landing and Overflight Permit Application Form DANTS AIM Form 6[75] and submit by E-mail to: fltpermits@caaz.co.zw or flightbriefing@caaz.co.zw.  Flight permits will send you a pro forma invoice (banking details are provided on the pro forma invoice) and once paid, forward the proof of payment to CAAZ who will send you a permit number. Please forward your permit number to zimairrally@gmail.com , for our records.

2. AIC Foreign Aircraft Private Flight fees AIC A04 22 Foreign fees from CAAZ for your information.  Note that for 9^th & 10^th June 2023, a reduction of $50.00 for recreational flight per day, has been awarded.

3. Route & Navigational fees:  Included in Recreational Flight fees for the air rally days.

4. Landing & Departure fees:  To be confirmed

5. Non-Type Certified Aircraft:  All foreign NTC Aircraft are required to submit the Landing and Overflight Permit Application Form DANTS AIM Form 6[75], and email to: mmusakasa@caaz.co.zw  for review.  Once approved, Airworthiness will liaise with Flight Permits and Briefing to send you a pro forma invoice, as per No. 1 above.

 

Local Entrants:

1. Route & Navigational fees:  Waivered

2. Landing & Departure fees:  To be confirmed

3. Non-Type Certified Aircraft:  All local NTC aircraft and RPL pilots that have submitted updated documents required by CAAZ, please register as per other aircraft.

 

Flight Plans: 

Flight plans to Hwange and return home from Victoria Falls must be submitted by yourselves.
